PTO Scholarship
The Robert Miller PTO is offering a one-time, $500 scholarship to a former Miller Elementary student who will be graduating this coming May. The scholarship check will be made to the college he/she will be attending.
Please note all the eligibility, informational, and deadline requirements.
Essay
Please attach an original essay answering the questions:
How did your time at Miller impact you for life/your future/school?
(Examples: activities, parent involvement, classroom learning, interpersonal relationships, etc.)
What are your future goals for college and beyond?
(What would the scholarship money help support)
Eligibility Requirements
1. The recipient shall graduate during the current academic year.
2. The recipient must have attended Miller Elementary for at least 1 year.
3. The recipient must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
4. The application must be filled out completely and legibly.
Informational Requirements
1. Each essay should be at least 1 page, double-spaced, Times New Roman font size 12.
2. High school transcripts (which may be obtained from your counselor)
3. A written recommendation from a current or former teacher or advisor addressing your character.
4. All the information must be turned in together.
Deadline
Your application and additional materials must be postmarked on or before April 24, 2026. It must be mailed to the following:

Winner will be decided at May 4th PTO Meeting.
Winner will be invited to give a small speech at our 5th grade graduation on May 19th at Miller Elementary.
